Unstable Ground
Movement without foundation
100 x 160 cm
mixed media on canvas
Unstable Ground is exactly what its title promises — a wide, immersive field in which nothing is fixed. The marks accumulate and shift: green tones layered over and under each other, the surface constantly revised, never settled. There is no horizon line, no resting point. The eye keeps moving.
At 100 × 160 cm, the painting functions as an environment as much as an object. Hung in a large interior, it pulls the room toward it. It is made for walls that can hold scale — and for collectors who understand that the largest works carry the most presence.
